Release Rs 25 lakh to gaushala: Punjab and Haryana HC to Haryana

The Akhil Bhartiya Guashala of Rohtak approached the high court stating that it takes care of over 800 cows, calves and other cattle, but had been hit by a financial crunch as the state government had not released funds for the last 10 months.

The Punjab and Haryana High Court has ordered the Haryana government to release Rs 25 lakh, within a week, to a Rohtak-based cow shelter home (gaushala) that has been taking care of the stray cattle for the last 10 months.
