Total Funds to be raised: Rs.60,000
Funds raised so far: Rs.15,000
Background:
This Gaushaala is currently home to more than 400 gau vansh. These 400 non milk producing cows are taken care by volunteers who are serving Gau maata. Please see pictures of this Gaushaala below.
About 10 volunteers and workers provide round the clock service at this gaushaala. In addition there is a requirement of heating water and making some preparations for the Gau here. Presently a wood chulha is being used for most of the cooking purposes. Smoke from open wood cooking is harmful for the environment and the health of those exposed to it (Note 1) .
Solution: By installing a BioGas plant, the Gaushaala will switch to clean energy. Harmful effects of wood smoke will be removed, plus they will save costs associated with obtaining wood or other fuels.
Participation: You too can participate in this Gau seva by contributing to the cost of installing a biogas plant here. All supporters will be recognized on the Supporters list that will be installed in the Gaushaala.
